VET TEC 2.0
VET TEC 2.0 Is Coming: Prepare Now with Code Platoon
Be the first to receive updates on the return of the VA’s VET TEC program and start preparing for a future in tech.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is preparing to relaunch VET TEC (Veteran Employment Through Technology Education Courses), a program designed to help Veterans train for high-demand careers in the tech industry. While the program has not officially reopened, the VA has begun accepting applications from training providers and indicates that Veterans may be able to apply for benefits as early as June 2026.
VET TEC supports short-term, intensive training focused on real-world technology roles such as software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data.
Expected Program Benefits
While final program details are still emerging, VET TEC is expected to include:
- Tuition paid directly to the training provider by the VA
- Monthly housing allowance during training
- Career-focused technical education aligned with industry needs
Code Platoon and VET TEC
Code Platoon previously participated as a training provider during the original VET TEC pilot program. We have submitted an application to participate in VET TEC 2.0, but the VA has not yet announced the list of approved providers.
We will share updates as new information becomes available. Complete the form below to receive the latest VET TEC updates and guidance on preparing for the program.
